Volunteering at Newport School

Add to your skills and support the children, parents and carers of our community...

If you are thinking about volunteering in any community setting, then the Volunteeering England web site is also

a great place to start.

Who volunteers?  What sort of people?  What do they do?   How does it work?  What do I need to do?

Get the broad picture before you start your local search for a volunteering opportunity.

Pupils on CSV's Peer Mentoring course tell their stories. How pupils, teachers and parents working together can help young people learn about society, school and their own place in them. Just like we do at Newport.

This film is made by CSV, who offer everyone a great place to think about volunteering.

You can see the Community Service Volunteers web page here.

Packed with information on volunteering, to help you see if it's right for you.

CSV Education offers a variety of training and services for both teachers and students.

Go to www.csv.org.uk, call 020 7643 1435 or email education@csv.org.uk.

We also have a short film about volunteer reading on our SpeakEasy newsletter pages. Read more here...
