FAMILY  SUPPORT  WORKER  -  Urdu speaking

 

2 TERM  CONTRACT  -  April – December 2010

 

15 HOURS A WEEK  -  Term Time only

 

SALARY – pro rata Scale 4 Point 18 £18916pa  (approx £10 per hour)

 

QUALIFICATIONS – GCSE English & Mathematics Grade C or higher

 

We are looking for a person who can provide support and guidance to Urdu speaking families at Newport School and Children Centre to enable them to have full access to educational opportunities and overcome the barriers to learning.  

 

The post will require a child centred approach and primarily be concerned with developing and maintaining good working relationship with parents/carers, children and young people, the wider family and community, all school staff and other agencies.

ASSISTANT HEAD TEACHER FOR EYFS

& NON STATUTORY PROVISION

We are a large Primary School with Children Centre serving a lively, culturally diverse community.  Newport school has recently gone through a period of change and are looking for a committed professional to join our school leadership team.

 

Our head of EYFS has retired after many years of service and we need an energetic and innovative Assistant Head Teacher with clear leadership qualities who is passionate about helping pupils reach their full potential, to complete our team.

 

The role will comprise leadership of the EYFS, non statutory provision and you will manage the Children’s Centre. The post is non class based and offers the appropriate candidate the chance to develop the centre and core offer available to our EYFS students and their families.

PA  TO  HEADTEACHER

SALARY:         SCALE  5 (£21,373 - £23,276) Outer London Weighting included

 

HOURS:           36 hours per week all year round

 

The main duties of the post would include secretarial duties (post/e-mails/maintaining diary/servicing meetings, etc) and being the main point of contact for the whole Leadership Team for all staff, parents/carers and all other School stakeholders.  We are looking for someone with excellent written/spoken communication skills, good IT competency, good organisational skills, initiative, ability to work in highly pressurised environment.

 

 

RECEPTIONIST/DINNER  MONEY  OFFICER

SALARY:         pro rata SCALE 4 (£18, 916 - £20,877) Outer London Weighting included

 

HOURS:           36 hours per week (7.45am-5.30pm on  a rota basis) – term time only

 

The main duties of the post are general reception duties, administering the school dinner money system and creating a welcoming environment for all visitors and children to the School.

 

 

CHILDREN  CENTRE  RECEPTIONIST

SALARY:         pro rata SCALE 5 (£21,373 - £23,276) Outer London Weighting included

 

HOURS:           26.25 per week (12.30pm-5.45pm) all year round

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:             GCSE English & Mathematics Grade C or higher

 

The main duties of this post are to provide a welcoming atmosphere to all visitors and staff at the Children Centre.  To be the first line of communication to all members of the community and enable them to access information/services as appropriate and provide effective administrative support to the staff team.

 

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR ALL 3 POSTS:   GCSE English & Mathematics Grade C or higher
