RECEPTIONIST/DINNER  MONEY  OFFICER  -  REQUIRED  FOR  SEPTEMBER 2010

 

SALARY:        pro rata SCALE  4 (£18,916 - £20,877) Outer London Weighting included

 

HOURS:          36 hours per week (7.45am-5.30pm on a rota basis) – term time only

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:         GCSE English & Mathematics Grade C or higher

 

The administrative team within Newport School has undergone a major review and we are looking for someone to take on the above new role.  We aim to provide a safe, supportive and caring environment for all our learners.

 

The main duties of the post would include creating a welcoming environment for all visitors and children to the school, administering the school dinner money system and general reception duties.

 

We are looking for someone with

  • Good written and spoken communication skills;
  • A welcoming manner and able to relate to adults and children of all ethnic and cultural groups;
  • good IT competency in Microsoft Office packages;
  • good organisational skills;
  • able to work on own initiative and as part of a team;
  • ability to work in highly pressurised environment to meet demands and deadlines;
  • an eye for detail and committed to accuracy.
